Horrible decision that is clear, but I am more "jaw-dropped" that the attacker did not fess up (or maybe he did at the end of the clip I can not tell). He clearly knows he missed the net wide, you can tell from his reaction. That is the point where he should have gone right to the referee and explained what happened. Look liek a bad mix here .... Bad Call + Dishonest Player = Big Mess

If it were any other sport I would easily say none but soccer has promoted its Fair Play campaign, as it has been the only major sport's body to do anything of the sort. That said this means its what we would want the player to do not what they HAVE to do. Lets just hope that karma does not come around where the attacker's team finds their squad on the wrong side of a ghost goal.
